Screening for sleep breathing disorders at our office.

We consult with your primary care doctor, a sleep physician, and your home dental office about our findings and coordinate treatment with them

If an oral appliance is an appropriate treatment, we document information about your teeth, gums, tongue, throat, jaw joint, and neck.

We then get impressions of your teeth and how your upper and lower jaws fit with each other.

Your impressions are sent to a lab specializing in fabricating a comfortable, exact fitting, effective mouth appliance for treatment of your sleep breathing disorder.

We will fit your oral appliance and review how to use clean and adjust your appliance to provide you with the maximum long-lasting effectiveness and comfort.

Over about three months, we work with you to develop the correct position of your jaws to keep your airway open so you can have healthy breathing as you sleep

Once we achieve the best treatment possible, we will contact your primary care doctor, sleep doctor, and dentist about or progress and confirm with testing your successful treatment as they recommend.

Long term follow up is recommended every six months to a year. We are also available to you anytime you have a question or concern about your oral appliance therapy.
